Early morning arrival at Udaipur, transfer to hotel, after breakfast drive for sightseeing, city tour of Udaipur: UDAIPUR also known as the City of Lakes, is a city, Udaipur is the historic capital of the kingdom of Mewar in the former Rajputana Agency. The Guhils (Sisodia) clan ruled the Mewar and its capital was shifted from Chittorgarh to Udaipur after founding city of Udaipur by Maharana Uday Singh. The Mewar province became part of Rajasthan after India became independent. Apart from its history, culture, and scenic locations, it is also known for its Rajpurt-era palaces. The City Palace: A blend of Medieval European and Chinese architecture, the Palace complex has a number of remarkable buildings of immense beauty, gardens and fountains well planned and finely executed over the years. Also visit Museum, Jagdish Temple and Sahelion Ki Bari.
After breakfast drive to Deogarh. On the way visit Nagda Temple. Its example of one of the finest temple Architecture. Afternoon explore Deogarh Village by walk. Overnight at Deogarh.
After breakfast drive to sightseeing at Deogarh, Devgarh is a city and a municipality in Rajsamand district in the state of Rajasthan, India. It was estate of Chundawat rajputs. It boasts of a complex of luxurious heritage resorts managed by the erstwhile royal family of the Deogarh thikana. Later drive to johpur via Osian, Osian is an ancient town located in the Jodhpur District of Rajasthan state in western India. It is an oasis in the Thar Desert, and has been known as the "Khajuraho of Rajasthan" for its temples. Osian is famous as home to the cluster of ruined Brahmanical and Jain temples dating from the 8th to 11th centuries. The city was a major religious centre of the kingdom of Marwar during the Gurjara Pratihara dynasty. Of the 18 shrines in the group, the Surya or Sun Temple and the later Kali temple, Sachiya Mata Temple and the main Jain temple dedicated to Lord Mahavira stands out in their grace and architecture. After breakfast drive for local sightseeing Jodhpur, is the 2nd largest city in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The city is known as the "Sun City" for the bright, sunny weather it enjoys all year. It is also referred to as the "Blue City" due to the vivid blue-painted houses around the Mehrangarh Fort. The old city circles the fort and is bounded by a wall with several gates. However, the city has expanded greatly outside the wall over the past several decades. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.
After breakfast drive to Khimsar, Khimsar is famous for its Fort of 18th century which is now one of the best heritage hotel in the country. This fort is well preserved like a royal manor and is spread over eleven acres of sprawling lawns, orchard and open courtyard. After the check in and evening tea we proceed for a jeep safari in the desert to Black Buck reserve. Overnight at Khimsar.
Pushkar being one of the most religious places for Hindus has the atmosphere of an ancient religious town. The only temple of God Brahma is in Pushkar thus making Pushkar an important pilgrimage city for Hindus. Pushkar has become famous in the world due to its Pushkar Festival which takes place in the month of November when the whole of Pushkar is transformed into a spectacular fair ground where thousands of pilgrims come to bath in the holy water of Pushkar lake and the biggest cattle and camel markets take place here where Farmers, breeders and camel traders buy and sell.
Today we drive to the Pink City Jaipur. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and famous for its handicrafts and precious and semiprecious stones. After a break in Jaipur we visit the city palace in the afternoon which is still the formal residence of the royal family, built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. In the museum of the city palace we visit the private collection of the Jaipur Mahrajas. We continue to Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, the largest of Jai Singh's five remarkable observatories.
After breakfast we drive to the ancient capital of Amber, laying 11 km. away from Jaipur. Amber was the ancient capital of Kachhawaha dynasty for 6 centuries. We will ascend to the Palace Fortress on the back of an Elephant. Enroute to Amber we will visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), built in 1799 AD, it contains 953 small casements with each having its own balcony. The windows enabled cool air to circulate and the ladies to watch processions below without being seen.In the afternoon we have a walk through the colourful Bazaar of Jaipur and visit a factory to see the famous block printing work being done since centuries in Jaipur.In the evening we drive through the new city of Jaipur and visit "Laxmi Narayan Mandir", a Hindu temple made out of white marble. Today we have dinner with a presentation of Indian music and dance.
Today we leave Rajasthan, Drive to Agra,Enroute we make a stop and visit Fatehpur Sikri,This wonderful city constructed by red sand stones was abandoned as abruptly as it had been built. It has been generally stated that it was due to failing in the water supply. Afternoon arrival in Agra. After a short break in the Hotel, visit the Agra Fort, built by three of the greatest Mughal emperors. After the visit of Agra Fort Back to Hotel.
After the visit of Agra Fort we proceed to visit the most beautiful monument of India, the Taj Mahal, an enduring monument to love, with a continually fulfilling beauty. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1631-52, as a tomb and memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal (Jewel of the Palace), who died at the age of 39 giving birth to her 14th child. We spend enough time at Taj Mahal to take this impressive memory home. After the visit of Taj Mahal we have a look at the famous fine marble inlay work which is still being done in Agra by the descendants of the families of builders and artists of the Taj Mahal. After sightseeing in Agra drive to Delhi. Arrival in Delhi in the evening. Around midnight flight to home destination. At the time of departure our driver & representative will drop you at International Airport.
After breakfast drive to Delhi. Day free for own activities and last minute shopping. Transfer to International Airport to catch a flight for onward Destination.
